Description :
- SparkFun Soil Moisture Sensor is a simple breakout board for measuring soil moisture
- The two large pads act as probes, functioning as a variable resistor
- The more water in soil, the lower the resistance and higher SIG out
- VCC and GND pins connect to an Arduino-based device
- SIG out depends on the amount of water in soil
- PCB coated in gold finishing (ENIG) for longer lifespan when exposed to a moist environment
- Includes 3-pin screw pin terminal pre-soldered for easy wiring and setup
