Raspberry Pi is offering the Raspberry Pi Carbon Removal Credit to support UNDO, an organization dedicated to removing a billion tonnes of CO₂ from the atmosphere. This initiative helps mitigate the impacts of climate change by offsetting the carbon footprint of Raspberry Pi's manufacturing, shipping, and disposal processes.

A Raspberry Pi Carbon Removal Credit comes in the form of a credit-card-sized piece of card with a unique, verifiable serial number. Each card represents an offset of the carbon footprint of a Raspberry Pi board. For every card produced, Raspberry Pi purchases 6 kg of high-quality enhanced rock weathering carbon offsets from UNDO. These offsets are generated by spreading crushed basalt on farmland, which absorbs the carbon from the atmosphere over a period of up to twenty years.
