The Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32C3 is a compact development board powered by the ESP32-C3, featuring a 32-bit RISC-V processor, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity. Its thumb-sized form factor makes it ideal for IoT, wearable, portable, and space-constrained electronics projects.
As part of the Seeed Studio XIAO series, the board maintains the same ultra-compact footprint while delivering strong processing performance, low power consumption, and flexible wireless communication. It supports Arduino and CircuitPython development, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced developers.
The ESP32-C3 processor runs at up to 160 MHz and includes 400 KB SRAM and 4 MB Flash, providing enough memory for a wide range of IoT, sensor, automation, and wireless control applications. The integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi subsystem supports Station, SoftAP, combined Station + SoftAP, and promiscuous modes. It also supports Bluetooth 5 and Bluetooth Mesh.
For wireless performance, the board includes a U.FL antenna connector and can support communication distances of more than 100 metres under suitable conditions. Its power-management design supports multiple operating modes, including deep sleep consumption as low as 44 μA, along with lithium battery charging support.
