The STA518 is a quad half-bridge power amplifier designed for high-efficiency digital audio applications. It can be used in single-ended, bridge-tied load (BTL), or parallel configurations for flexible operation. The amplifier delivers 24W x 4 channels at 30V into a 4Ω load in single-ended mode. In BTL mode, it can provide 50W + 50W at 29V into 8Ω, and in parallel BTL, it reaches 70W at 34V into 8Ω. The STA518 features low power dissipation, thermal protection, and short-circuit protection, ensuring stable performance and long lifespan. It is compatible with CMOS logic inputs and housed in a compact HSSOP-36 package with an exposed pad for heat dissipation.
