Description:

The PICkit 3 In-Circuit Debugger/Programmer is a low-cost hardware debugger and programmer for PIC microcontrollers. It is not recommended for new designs and no new device support will be added after June 1, 2019. The MPLAB PICkit 4 is recommended for new designs. The PICkit 3 offers in-circuit debugging without the need for additional hardware or adapters and can reprogram any PIC microcontroller with a simple push of a button. The MPLAB PICkit 3 is connected to a PC using a full-speed USB interface and can be connected to the target using a debug connector for in-circuit debugging and In-Circuit Serial Programming. Note that PICkit 3 is only for development purposes and not for production programming.
