DIL40/TQFP100 ZIF PIC-2

The special adapter is specifically designed for the PIC18FxxJxx family of microcontrollers in a TQFP100 (Thin Quad Flat Package) package. It is manufactured in Slovakia and is identified by the order number 70-0650.



The adapter features a ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket with an OpenTop type design, allowing for easy insertion and removal of the TQFP100 package. However, it is important to note that the operating (mechanical) warranty of the ZIF socket is limited to 10,000 actuations, indicating the number of times the socket can be opened and closed before potential wear and tear.



The bottom board of the adapter is designed with 2 rows, each consisting of 2x20 pins in a square layout with a dimension of 0.6x0.6mm. The rows are spaced at 600 mil, providing appropriate spacing for efficient interfacing with the TQFP100 package.
