DIL28/PLCC32 ZIF EPROM

The special adapter is designed for use with 28-pins DIL (Dual In-line) EPROMs (Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memories) in PLCC32 (Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier) package. The adapter features a ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket with a PLCC32 OpenTop type design, which allows for easy insertion and removal of the EPROMs during programming and testing.



The special adapter has 2 rows with 2x14 pins each, arranged in a square pattern with a pitch of 0.6x0.6mm (600 mil) between the rows. This configuration is specifically tailored for 28-pins DIL EPROMs in PLCC32 package, ensuring a secure and reliable connection during programming and testing.



The adapter also has NC (No Connection) pins at positions 1, 12, 17, and 26, which are not connected and do not have any electrical connections. This allows for compatibility with EPROMs that have these pins as NC.



The ZIF socket of the adapter has an operating (mechanical) warranty of 10,000 actuations, indicating its durability and longevity for repeated use in programming and testing applications.
