console cables RJ45 – USB

This is a console cable that allows for direct connection between USB and RJ45 interfaces. It is designed as a replacement for RS232 serial port adapter cable and is particularly suited for connecting with Cisco-standard serial consoles. The cable has an outside diameter of 9mm x 2.5mm and features connectors with gold-plated contacts and 3μ shielding. The cable jacket is made of PVC and the conductors are bare copper with a gauge of 26AWG. The upstream connector is USB while the downstream connector is RJ45 (8P8C).
