The Arduino Nano RP2040 Connect is a feature-rich development board designed for IoT projects, packing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® capabilities through the u-blox NINA W102 module. It utilizes the Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller, supporting both MicroPython and C/C programming languages, making it versatile for various applications.

  • Clock Speed: 133 MHz
  • Digital I/O Pins: 20, with 14 serving as digital pins and 8 as analog inputs which can also be used as digital I/O. Note that digital pin 3 cannot be configured as INPUT_PULLUP.
  • Analog Input Pins: 8, with analog pins A4 to A7 connected to the 12-bit ADC of the NINA W102 module and A0 to A3 to the 12-bit ADC of RP2040.
  • PWM Pins: 18 available for PWM (except A6 and A7).
  • External Interrupts: Available on 20 pins (except A6 and A7).
  • Communication Protocols Supported: UART (D0 and D1 for serial communication), I2C (A4 and A5), and SPI.
  • Memory: 16MB Flash IC (AT25SF128A-MHB-T).
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provided by the NINA W102 uBlox module, supporting 802.11b/g/n and BLE v4.2.
  • Power: Operates at 3.3V with an input voltage (VIN) range of 5-21V. It also has a 5V pin which is connected to the Micro USB port voltage pin (VUSB), but be cautious as the board's logic is 3.3V and not 5V tolerant.

  • LSM6DSOXTR 6-axis IMU: Offers a 3D digital accelerometer and a 3D digital gyroscope, capable of machine learning for gesture detection.
  • MP34DT05 MEMS Microphone: An omnidirectional digital MEMS microphone with an IC interface, capable of sensing acoustic waves.
