The 12-0-12 Step Down Transformer 500mA is a chassis-mounting mains transformer with a 240V primary winding and a center-tapped secondary winding. It has flying colored insulated connecting leads that are approximately 100mm long. The transformer acts as a step-down transformer, reducing AC-240V to AC-12V and providing two outputs of 24V, 12V, and 0V.
