The UT673PV is a palm-sized solar panel diagnostic tool with built-in MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) functionality. It enables fast and accurate measurements of key PV parameters—including maximum power (Pₘₐₓ), voltage at maximum power (Vₘₚ), current at maximum power (Iₘₚ), open-circuit voltage (Vₒ????), and short-circuit current (Iₛ????)—all displayed simultaneously on a large LCD. The device draws power directly from the solar panel via included MC4 leads—so no batteries are needed. Rugged and portable, it's ideal for PV installers, maintenance technicians, and panel manufacturers.
