MUR1540 Ultrafast Switching Power Rectifier

The MUR1540 is a state of the art ultrafast power rectifier specifically designed for use in switching power supplies, inverters, and as freewheeling diodes. It features a planar silicon nitride passivated construction that ensures high reliability and low stored charge. Its primary advantage is its soft recovery characteristic which minimizes ringing and electrical noise in power switching circuits, thereby reducing power loss in the switching transistor. With a 15 Ampere current capacity and high voltage rating, it is a critical component for Switch Mode Power Supplies, uninterruptible power supplies, and motor controllers.
