TMA56S-L, TRIAC, Fully Molded SIP

The TMA56S-L is a silicon bidirectional triode thyristor (TRIAC) designed for general-purpose AC switching and phase control applications. It can handle an RMS on-state current of up to 5A and withstand non-repetitive surge peak on-state currents up to 53A at 60Hz, ensuring reliable performance under demanding conditions. With a gate trigger voltage of 2.2V and a gate trigger current of 10mA, the TMA56S-L is easily triggered, making it suitable for various control applications. Its high blocking voltage of 600V makes it ideal for use in applications such as light dimmers, motor speed controls, and static switching relays. The device is housed in a compact fully molded Single In-Line Package (SIP), simplifying integration into existing designs.
