FQP70N15 N-Channel QFET MOSFET

The FQP70N15 is a high-current N-channel enhancement mode power field-effect transistor produced using proprietary planar stripe and DMOS technology. This QFET process is specifically designed to optimize switching performance and minimize on-state resistance, making it highly efficient for power management. With a 70 Ampere current rating and 150 Volt tolerance, this device is ideal for low-voltage applications that require robust power handling, such as DC-DC converters, high-efficiency switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), and motor controllers. It is also frequently used in audio amplifiers and solenoid drivers. Its low gate charge allows it to be driven easily by logic-level circuitry or specialized driver ICs, while the TO-220 package ensures it can be effectively cooled via standard heat sinks to maintain stability under heavy loads.
