VN750-E High-Side Driver

The VN750-E is a monolithic device designed using STMicroelectronics VIPower M0-3 technology, intended for driving any type of load with one side connected to ground. It is an intelligent high-side driver that integrates a power MOSFET with comprehensive protection and diagnostic features on a single chip. This device is particularly well-suited for automotive applications, such as driving lamps, valves, and small motors, where reliability and protection against harsh electrical environments are essential. The VN750-E features an analog current sense pin that provides a current proportional to the load current, allowing for real-time monitoring and fault detection. It automatically protects itself against over-temperature and short circuits by limiting the output current and shutting down if necessary. The device is typically housed in a SO-8 or PPAK package, providing a compact footprint for space-constrained circuit board designs.
