Calibrated directly in Kelvin, this temperature sensor operates as a 2-terminal Zener diode, with a voltage breakdown proportional to absolute temperature at a linear rate of 10mV/°K. Its low dynamic impedance of less than 1Ω ensures reliable performance over a wide current range from 450μA to 5mA.
Unlike other sensors, the LM335Z delivers precise and stable readings across an operating range of -40°C to +125°C.
