By utilizing a 3-bit binary selection code, the device can effectively switch between various digital signal sources, making it a cornerstone for data routing and signal steering applications. A unique feature of this IC is that it provides both the true output (Y) and its complement (W) simultaneously, which simplifies the design of complex logic circuits and reduces the need for external inverters.
