The DS1242 is a highly reliable non-volatile SRAM with an integrated real-time phantom clock, designed by Dallas Semiconductor (Maxim Integrated). The integrated phantom clock function provides complete timekeeping capabilities, including seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year, with leap-year compensation up to 2100.
