The M74HC157B1 is a high-speed CMOS quad 2-channel multiplexer fabricated with silicon gate C2MOS technology. It consists of four 2-input digital multiplexers with common select and enable inputs. The device routes four bits of data from two sources to a common output under the control of a select input. When the enable input is held high, all outputs assume a low logic level regardless of the other input conditions. The M74HC157B1 is pin and function compatible with the 74 series 157 and is suitable for applications requiring high-speed data selection and routing.
