The SN74LS90N is a high-speed BCD decade counter, designed for use in frequency division, event counting, and digital sequencing applications. It consists of four master/slave flip-flops, internally connected to form a divide-by-two and a divide-by-five section. This enables its use in BCD, bi-quinary, and divide-by-ten counting configurations. Operating at 4.75V to 5.25V, the SN74LS90N achieves a maximum count rate of 32 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed logic applications.
