IR2153, Self-Oscillating 600V Half-Bridge Driver, Integrated Bootstrap Diode,DIP

The IR2153 - DIP is a high-voltage self-oscillating half-bridge driver IC with an integrated bootstrap diode. Designed for use in high-power applications such as motor drives, lighting systems, and power supplies, this IC can handle voltages up to 600V. The IR2153 features micropower startup, a 15.6V zener clamp on VCC, and low standby power consumption, making it ideal for energy-efficient designs.

This IC integrates adjustable deadtime control and incorporates a front-end oscillator similar to the industry-standard 555 timer, offering more functionality than previous ICs. The IR2153 also includes a built-in shutdown function on the CT pin, allowing the gate driver outputs to be disabled with a low voltage signal. Its noise immunity is improved with a lower di/dt gate driver and enhanced UVLO hysteresis of 1V.
