The ESP32-CAM AI-Thinker Development Board with OV2640 Camera Module is a compact and powerful WiFi-enabled microcontroller board designed for image processing, IoT surveillance systems, and smart camera applications. It integrates the ESP32-S chip with built-in WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing the module to transmit images and data wirelessly for remote monitoring and automation projects.

The board features an OV2640 2MP camera sensor, capable of capturing images and streaming video for applications such as face recognition, smart doorbells, wireless monitoring systems, and machine vision projects. It also includes a microSD card slot that supports external storage for saving captured images and videos locally.

Despite its small size, the ESP32-CAM module provides multiple GPIO pins for expansion, enabling integration with sensors, relays, or other external devices in IoT projects. The board can be programmed using the Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF, or MicroPython with a compatible USB-to-serial adapter.

This version includes the ESP32-CAM module and OV2640 camera only and does not include the ESP32-CAM-MB USB programming board. Programming requires an external USB-to-TTL serial adapter.
