The Siglent SSG5040X is a high-performance RF signal generator operating from 9 kHz to 4 GHz with ultra-fine 0.001 Hz frequency resolution. It features clean spectral output with typical maximum power of +26 dBm and excellent phase noise performance of around –120 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz with a 20 kHz offset. It supports analog modulation modes—AM, FM, PM—and optional pulse/pulse train generation. The built-in internal IQ modulation generator and arbitrary waveform playback support complex signal creation. Its 5" capacitive touchscreen display supports mouse and keyboard input, and remote control is available via USB Host/Device and LAN interfaces, with optional GPIB capability.
