ROS2&HUMANOID ROBOT WORKSHOP

Training Dates: 27 & 28
Timing: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (6 hours of hands-on training each day)

This workshop focuses on practical implementation and real-world applications, allowing participants to move beyond simulation and directly program and interact with a Unitree humanoid robot.

Training Plan

Day 1 – ROS2 Foundations & Robot Integration

• Introduction to ROS2 architecture and core concepts
• Understanding humanoid robot systems and capabilities
• Setting up the development environment
• ROS2 communication: Nodes, Topics, Services, and Actions
• Working with Gazebo and RViz for visualization and simulation
• Connecting to and operating the real Unitree humanoid robot
• Hands-on exercises: basic robot control and movement.

Day 2 – AI, Vision & Advanced Hands-on Applications

• Introduction to computer vision and perception for humanoid robots
• Integrating AI applications with ROS
• Programming interactive robot behaviors
• Building applications where the robot can perceive and respond to its environment
• Advanced hands-on programming on the Unitree humanoid robot
• Team exercises and practical implementation
• Q&A session and certificate distribution

As an official training program developed through our partnership with Unitree, participants will receive direct experience working with genuine Unitree robotic platforms and gain practical skills aligned with current industry practices.
