The Raspberry Pi Sense HAT is an add-on board for Raspberry Pi, made especially for the [Astro Pi](https://astro-pi.org/) mission which launched to the International Space Station in December 2015 and is now available to buy. It features a multitude of inputs and outputs for reading and interacting with the Sense HAT’s sensors and the Raspberry Pi.
The Sense HAT has an 8×8 RGB LED matrix, a five-button joystick and includes a gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer, temperature sensor, barometric pressure sensor, and humidity sensor. There’s also a full [Python library](https://pythonhosted.org/sense-hat/) that accompanies the board.
