The LM35DZ is a precision analog temperature sensor that provides a voltage output linearly proportional to the temperature in degrees Celsius (10 mV/°C). It operates from a single power supply and does not require external calibration or trimming. With its wide supply voltage range and very low self‑heating, the LM35DZ is ideal for embedded systems, microcontroller-based projects (Arduino, Raspberry Pi), HVAC systems, battery monitoring, and general temperature sensing applications. It comes in a TO‑92 through‑hole package, making it easy to mount on a PCB. The device maintains high accuracy over a broad temperature range and draws minimal current, ensuring minimal impact on the system it monitors.
