The TJA1048T is a dual high-speed CAN transceiver designed to provide an interface between a Controller Area Network (CAN) protocol controller and the physical two-wire CAN bus. It is specifically engineered for high-speed CAN applications in the automotive industry, offering differential transmit and receive capability to (a microcontroller with) a CAN protocol controller. The device supports data rates up to 5 Mbit/s in the CAN FD fast phase, making it suitable for modern automotive networks. With improved EMC and ESD performance, as well as a very low-current Standby mode with bus wake-up capability, the TJA1048T is an excellent choice for applications requiring multiple high-speed CAN interfaces with low-power operation.
