Sales engineers sell complex scientific and technological products or services to businesses. They must have extensive knowledge of the products’ parts and functions and must understand the scientific processes that make these products work.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Presenting products to the clients and managing customers
  • Plan detailed presentations that show clients your product info, pricing, and benefits
  • Learning and understanding products available in the showroom
  • Understand the customer specifications and needs and prepare techno-commercial proposals and offers, follow up and seize the deal in coordination with procurement and logistic team
  • Support Review of Technical Documents
  • Built a productive network of contacts
  • Manage billing and delivery of solid products
  • Follow up on solid products to ensure the customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring that sales targets are met

Job Purpose:

Ecommerce Manager develops and carries out strategic online marketing plans for a company that does business on the Web. As such, He/she needs to stay current with the online marketing environment and adapt strategy to best serve the interests of the organization and to keep pace with the competition in their field.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Driving the sales performance of the e-commerce platform
  • Managing and executing promotional campaigns
  • Providing insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment selection and identify assortment gaps
  • Ensuring good customer service by addressing and ensuring the timely resolution of customer issues or comments
  • Working closely with demand planning and warehousing teams in order to ensure smooth order fulfilment
  • Providing analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales by department, new product sell-through and offer code performance
  • Supervising and controlling performance of E-commerce team
  • Responsible for professional development of all e-commerce team members

Skills required:

  • Extensive experience with practices and techniques related to web merchandising or online retailing
  • Experienced in e-commerce trading on Amazon, Noon, Carrefour and others
    Operational knowledge of techniques required for market research and analysis
  • Sound knowledge of website management and eCommerce usability
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, MS Access and others
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a strong customer orientation
