DIL48/PLCC84 ZIF PLD-1

The special adapter is specifically designed for use with CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device) devices such as Altera MAX 7000/A/AE/S, Atmel ATF1504x/8x, Philips PZ3xxx/5xxx, Xilinx XCR3xxx/5xxx, which come in PLCC84 (Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier) package.



The adapter features a ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket with an OpenTop type design, allowing for easy insertion and removal of chips for programming. The OpenTop design provides a convenient and efficient way to program CPLD devices in PLCC84 package, ensuring accurate data transfer.



The ZIF socket has an operating (mechanical) warranty of 10,000 actuations, indicating its durability and longevity for repeated use.



The bottom of the adapter has 2 rows with 2x24 pins each, arranged in a square pattern with a pitch of 0.6x0.6mm (600 mil) between the rows. This configuration is specifically tailored to the pinout arrangement of CPLD devices from Altera, Atmel, Philips, and Xilinx in PLCC84 package, ensuring a secure and reliable connection during programming.
