DIL48/PLCC68 ZIF PLD-2

The special adapter is specifically designed for CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device) devices such as Altera EP18xxx, Intel xC180, and TI (TMS) EP18xxx, which are packaged in PLCC68 (Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier) package. It is made in Slovakia and identified by Ord. no. 70-0296.



The adapter features a ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket with an operating (mechanical) warranty of 10,000 actuations. The ZIF socket allows for easy and secure insertion and removal of the CPLD devices during programming or testing operations, without the need for excessive force that could potentially damage the devices or the adapter.



The bottom part of the adapter has 2 rows of 2x24 pins, arranged in a square pattern with a pitch of 0.6x0.6mm (600 mil) between rows.
