The special adapter is specifically designed for use with NXP/Philips microcontrollers such as 87C451, 87C453, 87C552, 87C554, 89C739, and other devices in PLCC68 (Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier) package, providing a convenient solution for programming these devices.



The adapter features a ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket with an OpenTop type design, allowing for easy insertion and removal of devices for programming. The ZIF socket has an operating (mechanical) warranty of 10,000 actuations, ensuring its durability and long-lasting performance.



The bottom of the adapter has 2 rows with 2x24 pins each, arranged in a square pattern with a pitch of 0.6x0.6mm (600 mil) between the rows.
